Memories laid, my heart was slayed.
You were honored, and I was abhorred.
As pure as I was, so innocent,
You dented with your scent.
Your silence stilled the storm of my words,
And made me guilty without an offense.
The enchanted rose you gave to me,
Has turned me into a beast.
The chariot of friendship we rode,
You sold out, not for gold,
Not for a thousand lives,
But for a price less than your lies.
You opened my eyes to darkness,
And bathed in my tears.
You ate from my bowl,
Yet killed my soul.
A lot of questions are raging in my head,
Of what I must have done wrong my friend.
If ever I did, apart from trusting you,
It’s that i loved you like a fool.
